In the mid-1990s, the Internet made its definitive breakthrough in the Netherlands and various multinationals took their first steps on the world wide web. Around that time, DD&H was founded by a number of students from the University of Twente and the former MediaCenter. This is how DD&H operated in the heart of the Dutch media world and beyond.
From the early days, DD&H has worked for international clients focusing on business, interactivity, and technology. When many companies disappeared with the burst of the internet bubble, DD&H – now independent – managed to survive and even grow with a clear answer to the questions of the future. The Internet came of age and instead of making it a goal, DD&H deployed it as part of an integrated communications strategy and grew into the full-service online agency of today.
Due to customer-driven developments, DD&H has developed two groups in recent years:
- Marketing and sales automation.
- Rapid prototyping and model-driven software development.
DD&H is located within walking distance of the station in the center of Enschede and since 2004 in the center of Barcelona.
